About Nina
I'm Nina Kowalski. I ran a few personal and fan pages from the late 1990s into the early 2000s, which means I spent a lot of evenings moving table cells one pixel at a time and pretending I understood FTP better than I did.
I saved guestbook exports, little button images, webring fragments, and notes about services that vanished. At first I kept them because they were mine. Later I realized they also showed how people were polite, awkward, friendly, and promotional before profiles and feeds made everything smoother.
Collection rules
I shorten names, remove email addresses, and avoid posting anything that looks private. I am interested in common phrases and page culture, not in making anyone searchable again twenty years later.
